Tweed Holiday Parks - Pottsville South
February 2025
Back after the busy Christmas Holiday period and now the third of the Tweed Holiday Parks sites at Pottsville South has been completed. Like Tweed Heads, this site also consists of one (1) entry lane and one (1) exit lane but the lanes are separated from each other by a large garden area. This site required some extra civil works in order to get the necessary concrete mounting plinths and interconnecting conduits and cables back to our central node control box. Like the other sites Genetec LPR cameras, Axis Powered by Genetec access controllers, iPhone video intercom, Hanwha CCTV, HID PIN / RFID access readers and Centsys Sentinel II barrier gates were used. The second of the Tweed Holiday Parks sites at Tweed Heads has been completed just in time for the Christmas holiday season. This site consists of one (1) entry lane and one (1) exit lane using a central island design. The system again utilises Genetec LPR cameras, Axis Powered by Genetec access controllers, iPhone video intercom, Hanwha CCTV, HID PIN / RFID access readers and Centsys Sentinel II barrier gates. The system allows for both car and truck height operation. Network communications to the Council network is via a Ubiquity Wi-Fi bridge. Check out some images in our gallery here.

Apex Parking Solutions Pty Ltd have been successful in their tender submission to Tweed Holiday Parks for the supply and installation of new vehicle access control systems for six (6) of their holiday parks. The systems will be installed at their Tweed Heads, Fingal Bay, Kingscliff North, Kingscliff Beach, Pottsville North and Pottsville South Holiday Parks. Each site will utilise innovative Genetec License Plate Reading technology and integrate fully with their Newbook reservation management software.

Sydney Markets - ParkIQ

Apex Parking Solutions Pty Ltd worked alongside ParkIQ / Watermelon Parking to provide installation services for the Sydney Markets in Homebush. ParkIQ / Watermelon were successful if winning a tender to provide Sydney Markets with leading edge carpark management solutions for over 35 traffic lanes. The product combined Genetec License Plate cameras with Watermelons own entry and exit control terminals and Magnetic Automation barriers. Apex Parking were engaged to provide installation services including civil works, conduit and cabling for 240v power and comms network, concrete islands, vehicle detection loop cutting and installation as well as equipment bolt down. Apex Parking also manufactured and supplied purpose designed protective bollards as well as designed and produced lane control node cabinets for each traffic lane.
